A user can program which circuits are grouped together, along with a name for the group, which is then saved on the hardware and can be accessed by anyone else who connects via this application.

This application is used in combination with an Arduino-like micro controller to alter the intensity of groups of channels. A user can program which circuits are grouped together, along with a name for the group, which is then saved on the hardware and can be accessed by anyone else who connects via this application.
This was created for performance spaces that have a resident technician, but who do not have an easy way for non-tech personnel who regularly use the space to turn on groups of lights for themselves. For example, a space with a lighting console in the tech booth at the rear of the house and no controller on stage.

Please note that DMX-512A was designed to only have one controller on the network at a time. Unless you have a setup that combines controller signals or in some way allows for more than one controller, connecting this alongside another controller will result in unexpected behavior. In the systems I've tested this on, my hardware wrests control from anything else on the network.
