SingersBabelTM offers tools to help singers learn the meaning and pronunciation of texts in foreign languages, as found in art songs, cantatas, oratorios and choral music. BabelGuidesTM of works contain MP4 videos in which a native speaker and sung-diction specialist recites the original text while the text, a word-for-word English translation, and a phonetic or IPA transcription scrolls by. A printable PDF of the Guide is included. The text is available in a poetic reading and a slow reading, and newer versions have one that alternates between poetic and slow, line by line. BabelGuidesTM are available for complete works or for individual movements from those works.
