Singhasan Battisi is a famous Indian folk literary work, based on the story of the throne of King Vikramaditya, which has 32 statues of angels on it.

When the later king tries to sit on the throne, one of the angel statues on the throne comes to life and explains to the king that it is not only about sitting on this great throne of the great king that will make him the best judge.
