SkatePedia aims to help users learn skateboard tricks. It does this by providing users the ability to analyze their skateboarding, track their progress, and engage with a community to give and receive advice. Users can upload "Trick Items" for each trick. These trick items contain video of their attempt, a rating of their progress, and notes to help improve the trick. These trick items can be compared with videos from pro skateboarders to aid analysis. Users can make posts asking for advice and comment on other user's posts giving advice. Users can search for other users and direct message each other to more directly give and receive advice.
