Skipjack: Read Videos

Skipjack is an unofficial player for YouTube that lets you read captions at your own pace.

Paste a link to a YouTube video or playlist to start watching. If the video has captions, they appear beside the video as text in one long pane you can scroll.

While the video is playing, an indicator shows you the position in text. Set the text to auto-scroll, or scroll at your own pace. Tap any line to skip to that point in video.

Stop the video at any time and resume to the exact point you’ve stopped.

Paste links to YouTube channels or export your subscriptions from YouTube to get the latest videos from these channels in Skipjack.

Skipjack has two hand-crafted themes: light and dark.

iPhone and iPad are both supported with many enhancements to make the iPad version extra special.
