Slate: Budget & Save

What is it about?

Slate: Budget and Save is a budget tracker app that allows the user to create a monthly budget, track their spending history and savings contributions. Slate allows the user to either enter expenses each month manually, or, for select financial platforms, they can upload their full bank statements in .csv file form. The main page of the app is where you can update your budget, view where you're at for that month, and upload expenses. Our All-Time page allows the user to filter spending/saving history by month and/or by budget category. Slate also keeps track of savings goals and slush funds, which are essentially reserves that you can contribute to each month and use for sporadic or unexpected large expenses that pop up throughout the year.
