Slo Books: Slovenian Books

The application is aimed at literary agents, publishers, translators from Slovene, and all lovers of literature interested in contemporary Slovene authors and the translations of their works.

App was made with financial support of Slovenian Book Agency and Co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union. All translations that are included in this app were financed 100% by Slovenian Book Agency and all authors have agreed to make this translations. System of financing is as follows: Translator has to apply for funds and he/she is also payed directly. All translations are published online on Slovenian Book Agency web page and they are also published in booklets that are distributed in book fairs (Leipzig, London, Frankfurt etc) to all people that are interested in publishing Slovenian authors. There is also special statement in booklets that states: © The authors/translators are the copyright holders of the text, unless stated otherwise


The app is mainly meant for literary agents and publishers. The translations that are included in this app are just parts of the books (not more than 20%, usually less than 10%).
