This experience highlights society’s need to mine copper and explores the processes involved in extracting a hypothetical resource using the block caving mining method. You will learn about the steps involved in establishing and operating a block cave by placing 3D models on the table in-front of you using augmented reality (AR). These AR models allow you to walk around and observe the mining processes and layout of underground tunnels from all angles. The models can also be rotated and enlarged to explore the details you find interesting.
