Up to 18% of adults in Germany suffer from dangerous snoring - most of them without knowing it. Possible long-term consequences: Heart attacks, strokes and increased risk of accidents. What makes snoring dangerous?
Snoring is dangerous if there are breathing pauses during sleep - i.e. sleep apnea. Snorefox analyzes your snoring individually for you and shows the result in the form of a report with a risk analysis in traffic light colors.
Snorefox offers you:
Realize if, when, how long and how loud they snore.
Assessment of whether you have dangerous breathing pauses during sleep (sleep apnea).
Insights and tangible knowledge on how to overcome snoring and sleep apnea.
Technical performance
Snorefox measures snoring sounds and analyzes the underlying breathing patterns. The app is based on 10 years of research in audio analysis of snoring sounds. The app is designed to help snorers discreetly and easily assess their risk of sleep-related breathing disorder (sleep apnea) by simply measuring their snoring sounds in their familiar home sleep environment.
Snorefox is a certified medical device and is therefore subject to much stricter regulations than conventional snoring apps.
Dealing with the result
If Snorefox shows that your snoring is dangerous, it may come as a shock at first glance - but ultimately it is a particularly valuable result. Few things can jeopardize your quality of life, health and safety as relevantly as undetected and/or untreated sleep apnea. That's why it's worth tackling the issue with a doctor.
Please consult a physician if Snorefox identifies you as being at risk for sleep apnea. A definitive diagnosis or exclusion of sleep-disordered breathing can only be made by a physician.
