Sol-Lux Mobile App
Sol-Lux home awnings are designed for autonomous operation however for those who like to fiddle with and adjust their gadgets, Sol-Lux awnings offer you full control of your awning products via the Sol-Lux Mobile app.
Extension, Retraction, & Stopping
The Sol-Lux Mobile app allows you to quickly and easily extend, retract and stop your awning in real-time. Just connect to the specific awning via Bluetooth and hit the Extend, Retract or Stop buttons on the app to control your awning directly.
Controlling Multiple Awnings
Because you have a patio and multiple windows on your home, the Sol-Lux app allows you to toggle between each and every one of your awnings. This gives you full control of your entire set of Sol-Lux Home Awnings from operation to advanced settings. Additionally, you can name each awning in the app so you know exactly what awning you are selecting.
Real-Time Feedback
Sol-Lux Home Awnings feature real-time feedback so you know what temperature it is outside, what type of weather the awning is sensing (Rain, Snow, Wind, Sun) and how much battery you have as well. This is all on display in the Sol-Lux Mobile app providing you the specifics you need to review how your awning is operating and if you would like to adjust that operation based on the weather. There are many windows on homes and in some cases different sides of the home can be experiencing the same weather differently. Rain can be hitting one side of your home and not the other and this feedback allows you to determine what the best setup would be for the exact weather on each and every side of your home.
Additionally, all operational controls are done in real time as well. If you hit extend, the awning will extend outwards. Retraction and Stopping are the exact same. This allows you to react more quickly than the programmed settings of the awning if you feel something could be damaging the awning or you just want shade or sunlight right away.
Scheduling Awning Operation
As stated previously, Sol-Lux awnings are designed for automatic operation based on factors like temperature, sunlight and weather. But, we know that you know your home better than anybody and you can schedule each and every awning for operation on certain days and certain times as you know the sun exposure will be greater during these times. Or, if you are not going to be home and you know you want your awnings out to provide shade and help mitigate the impact on your A/C unit.
Advanced Settings
As a part of the many features of the Sol-Lux Mobile app, you can adjust each awnings extension by percentage. 100% is full extension of course and 0% would be closed. This is ideal for the variety of angles the sun can hit your home and it also allows you to reduce extension so you can get the benefits of the shade while also seeing out of your window!
Another key setting you can adjust is the operating temperature range. Sol-Lux Home awnings are designed to stay closed during colder weather as you want the solar gain that comes in from sunshine through windows and doors. However, you can adjust this temperature range so it can operate how you see fit. So, if you want your awning to extend at 40° F and provide protection you have the option of doing so.
These are just a couple of the many settings you can control on your awnings with the Sol-Lux Mobile app.
With the Sol-Lux app, you have full control of all your awnings, right at your fingertips!
