As the name suggests, it will notify you when a specified astronomical event happens at your location. It’s dark theme is perfect late night viewing sessions. As a cool touch, there are a number of Easter Eggs and hidden gems that can unlock additional functionality.

For those who...

  • Anyone who enjoys astronomy
  • no matter whether you're a beginner or expert. Want to be notified when certain celestial events occur.

Not for those who...

  • Don't like astronomy. Looking for a more full-featured astronomy app.

Why we love it

We really enjoyed getting to use the app, and even if you’re the least bit interested in astronomy, definitely check it out. While it’s not as wide ranging as other astronomy apps, it does a great job focusing on the celestial events you can view at your location. While we don’t get to do much stargazing in a big city, I’m looking forward to trying it in a more hospitable location soon.
