SoundSafe can make a fake yet realistic phone call to your number, so you can escape awkward or uncomfortable situations.
It’s the perfect solution to get you out of such situations before they become more serious or turn into an emergency, providing you with an extra layer of protection.

WHEN TO USE SOUNDSAFE

SoundSafe is your ideal companion for moments when you wish a friend or guardian could call you immediately, such as:
- When you find yourself stuck on a date that's not going well
- When you’re in a cab or ride-share (Uber/Lyft) and get bad vibes from the driver
- When you’re walking alone in the evening or at night and suspect someone is following you
- When you’re waiting for someone and a creepy stranger starts making advances
- When you’re stuck in a conversation with a relative you were trying to avoid
- When you feel uneasy because a stranger is following you around the store or mall
- When a coworker is making you uncomfortable at work and you need a discreet way to leave the conversation
- When you need a quick escape from an awkward encounter at a bar, club, or party

Basically, SoundSafe is a 24/7 personal safety app that you can use whenever someone is invading your personal space and refuses to back off. As a parent or partner, SoundSafe is highly recommended for ensuring safety during school or campus activities and work commutes.

FAKE PHONE CALL THAT'S TOO REAL TO BE TRUE

With the "Call Me Now" button, you can request an immediate callback with just one click. Upon clicking, you'll receive a phone call from SoundSafe's number, featuring an AI-generated virtual guardian. The conversation is so realistic that even on speakerphone, it’s difficult to tell it's not a human.

Additionally, you can select one of three scenarios for the conversation and the virtual guardian can talk about the selected scenario on the phone call:
- Inviting you to a meeting
- Checking your whereabouts
- Making get-together plans for the weekend

While currently, the app supports English only, SoundSafe offers two virtual guardians with male and female voices, allowing you to select from four accents: American, British, Australian, and Indian English.

If you prefer, you can also schedule a call for later using the "Schedule Call" button, with wait options of 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or 1 minute.

When creating an account, you will be assigned a unique SoundSafe number that you can save in your contacts. This way, the incoming call will display your chosen contact name instead of "SoundSafe" as the caller ID.

STRONG FOCUS ON PRIVACY

Your security and privacy are paramount. SoundSafe is designed with that in mind, ensuring your data is secure and never misused. If required, you can instantly delete all your associated data using the "Delete Account" feature available in the Settings tab.

OUR STORY

Regularly, we come across a flock of news related to women's safety, highlighting how women have to encounter uninvited social situations in their everyday lives.

SoundSafe was inspired by a similar situation when my wife had an uncomfortable encounter during a cab ride. Our goal is to ensure that SoundSafe becomes more than just an app; it's a companion designed to give you peace of mind in difficult situations.
