SP-PHOTO

This app was designed to be used as an accompanying app for telnet clients (or other clients having all data on the server side) in need of an automated way to attach small photo files to documents.

This app retrieves a file name from a ftp server, uses the file name to save a photo, and can upload these photos (in resolution reduced to 1024 x 786 pixels) to a ftp server for processing.

A search string is used to retrieve a file name by a ftp list command (LIST *searchstring). The photo name which is going to be used is the result of stripping the search string from the file name returned from the name ftp server, combined with a time stamp string.

It is possible to use this app without a search string and name ftp server. If used like this you manually have enter a file name before taking a photo. No time stamp string will be added.

If you are not going to upload your photos to a ftp server or if you want high resolution photos, then don't use this app, because there is no other way to retrieve the photo files and the photos will be reduced in resolution to 1024 x 786 pixels before ftp upload.
