What is it about?

Specify Mobile enables you to access any Specify 7 collection from your iPhone. Simply configure one or more Specify 7 sites to gain easy and quick access to your collections. The app enables a “read-only” experience for all users except guests. It includes tree traversal for Taxon, Geography, Storage, Lithostratigraphy, and Geologic TimePeriod. The Search functionality includes the secondary search, the Google-like search, available in Specify 6 & 7. One of the most sought after features, is using your iPhone to look up collection objects by scanning a bar code. This can come in very handy wen are “deep in the collection.”
