SpiceJet Ltd. presents Spice AirDocs (Electronic Flight Bag – Document Management System). It is the new standard in airline document management, a technology shift in safety and compliance, collaboration and usability. Spice AirDocs is designed to create, distribute and view aircraft manuals, as well as internal manuals produced by the airline. It makes safety and regulatory compliance easy with its workflows, tracking and content linking. It updates manuals in PDF. The app enables pilots to find the information they require quickly, especially when quick decisions need to be made on the flight deck.
The Spice AirDocs iPad app is an EFB viewer that allows to display EFB documents. The app is used in conjunction with Spice AirDocs distributor, which enables airline staff to upload documents such as manuals, notices and forms. This airline generated content is then distributed to users’ iPad devices.
Spice AirDocs provides secure, controlled and audited distribution and synchronization of operational documents through iPad devices. Pilot user experience comes first in the Spice AirDocs app along with scope search, preservation of annotations and highlights, and effectivity.
The Spice AirDocs iPad app can display PDF manuals from aircraft manufacturers including FCOM, MELs and QRHs, as well as ground ops and airline operating manuals.

Spice AirDocs viewer is a mobile app used by pilots to access critical flight manual content during all phases of flight. This app is specifically designed for viewing aircraft manufacturer manuals and company generated manuals. Built with pilot’s needs to the core, our viewer brings pilot-centric functionality into the flight deck with genuine innovations, including:
Annotations and Bookmarks - Pilot bookmarks are stored on SpiceJet’s cloud server to save the updated manuals from getting lost. It further retrieves all previous bookmarks on a new device.
Search – It plays a vital role in the cockpit when the flight crew demands immediate answers. The dynamic search capability delivers correct results at lightning speed.
Effectivity – The viewer displays only the documents that are specific to the plane's tail number that reduces the potential confusion in demanding situations.
Spice AirDocs distributor controls document distribution and tracking of mobile devices. Documents can be automatically targeted by crew, flight or aircraft. The system tracks each device to ensure the latest version of each document is up to date. Distributor alerts supervisors if a crew device is out of date where the crew member is scheduled to fly. This advanced compliance monitoring give airline managers a peace of mind as all relevant information is made available to crew at all times and all safety and compliance requirements are met.
