Celebrating five years from the App Store, Split will be free until 10/07.

After July 10th, Split returns the promotional price of $0.99 until iOS 7 version gets ready with several new features including a new design. If you get it now the update will be free whenever it comes out. :)

Split is an app for people who are fed up (pun intended) with having to split the restaurant bill with friends, when one is vegan, while another one bought a freakishly expensive steak, and another was there just watching you eat. Of course, in one of these situations you wouldn’t want to split the bill equally, right?

• Aside from being beautiful, it is completely designed from the start for the iPhone 5 and the new iPod touch
• Incredibly visual, making it much simpler to use.
• Calculates the tip automatically.
• Includes Sales Tax, for you that lives or is travelling to the US.
• VoiceOver for Accessibility is also implemented!

——— HOW IT WORKS ———
1) Select the people that are with you from your contact list.
2) Add the items consumed and their values​​.
3) Select the item and tap the photo of whom consumed, indicating who consumed what.
4) That’s it, your total is fairly shared to everyone!

• Next version will include a mini tutorial to make it clear how Split works.
• We're aware that adding just who is in your contact list is not very interesting to some users. The next update will add people off the list, including pictures. :D
