Spokane Go Vote!

This application is a platform that provides candidate information to prospective voters of Spokane County.

Its intent is to create a space where voters can learn about candidates and ask questions which candidates can respond to in a public setting.

All questions submitted will be sent to all Candidates the following Sunday and their responses will be updated within the app every Sunday moving forward until the election.

If a candidate chooses not to answer a question, we will not record any response to the question in their profile.

We will not be screening questions and it will ultimately be up to the candidates to respond if they should choose so. We will not edit any responses we receive back and will enter them into the app as they have been submitted.

Submitted questions and candidate responses will be posted in a public forum accessible to all users.

Application users will receive a bi-weekly notification for information updates. Application users will also receive occasional push notifications regarding certain dates (last day to register to vote, and a reminder to turn in their ballot).

The Application does not promote, favor, or otherwise aim to give any candidate a distinct advantage nor disadvantage. Users will be able to review our changelog to look at questions that were submitted. Since all candidates are responding to the questions with their or their staff member's email accounts, candidates will have a copy of their responses that can be used to dispute any information if it is placed into the application improperly.

The Application is free to both candidates and users.
