STABILO® ErgoPen

With the development of the ErgoPen, STABILO® offers a unique measuring tool, which provides simple and evidence based support to the everyday work of an occupational therapist.

Although the STABILO® ErgoPen looks and writes just like a normal pen, its carefully designed electronic interior and the analytic capabilities of the ErgoPen app, make it an innovative tool, which is indispensable to the effective, everyday work of an occupational therapist.

How the STABILO® ErgoPen works.

While writing on paper, the digital ErgoPen automatically records valid data regarding the writing pressure, -angle, -frequency , - flow and duration of the patient. This data is then automatically transferred to the corresponding ErgoPen app, in order to identify deviations in the patient’s writing motor skills, which can then be treated with appropriate therapy.
Further measurements taken throughout therapy, as well as the development of the patient, can easily be visualized with the simple push of a button within the app. Clear line- and bar graphs create a comprehensive (doctor’s) report, which can be sent online or printed directly from the app.
