Stagger's features include:

- Surprise Hints: Tease your friends with a message or a picture and get them excited about your surprise.
- Timeline Templates: Quick selection on how your surprise information should be revealed. Pick a template that suits you and your surprise. You can then customize each detail as you see fit.
- Multiple Timelines: For each surprise you can assign different friends to different Timelines. This allows you to keep information hidden longer from some friends, have some friends as accomplices and increase the suspense.
- Location Surprise: You can choose to have the location itself be a surprise. Your friends will not see the final destination, but instead they can choose a mode of transportation and Stagger will launch a GPS based navigation app to take them to your surprise. They will not know the final destination until they reach it. Note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
- Calendar View: The calendar days indicate with colored dots the various surprises you have.
- Surprises Timeline View: An alternative to the Calendar View that allow you to quickly scroll chronologically through all your surprises.
- Selfie Reaction: A surprise organizer can activate this option so that friends invited to the surprise will have to take a selfie in order to accept it.
- Masked Comments: A friend invited to the surprise won't be able to see the names of commenters if their identities are not revealed yet.
- Picture Surprise: We want you to have fun with your surprises and enjoy life. Take pictures and add them to your surprise. Everyone will be able to see the pictures at the same time, once the surprise is over.
- Update anytime: If your plans change then you can update your surprise Timeline to ensure everything still happens at the right time.
- Share: Enable sharing for a surprise so that after it ends, friends can share it with their other friends.
