StanChart HK Marathon Virtual

To allow more runners to participate in this annual long-distance running event, Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon will hold a virtual run from 25 October to 14 November 2021. Runners shall complete the designated distances in the categories they have signed up anywhere they wish, and simply submit their running record through this official mobile app.

Both overseas and local runners from all over the world can participate in the virtual run by recording the whole process of their runs with the official mobile app which is equipped with the global positioning system (GPS). The running distances, speeds and routes of the runners can be recorded.

Take on five attempts to excel yourself
You can take on a maximum of five attempts to excel yourself.


Pause, Snap, Share
You will have 24 hours to complete the chosen running distance in each of the five attempts. You can take a break any time after the start time and capture all the special moments in the run on the camera of your mobile phone and share them with us on social media.
