What is it about?
The Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS or STARBOOKS, the first Philippine STI Digital Library, is a rapidly growing project of the Department of Science and Technology through STII. In partnership with the DOST regional offices, STARBOOKS brings Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) information to all corners of the country. Especially to areas lacking proper library facilities and low internet connectivity. As of March 2019, there are about 3,455 sites of STARBOOKS nationwide, mostly composing of primary and secondary schools.
