The Start Here app is designed to be a simple way for patients and their companions to gain familiarity with concepts related to hearing aids as well as address common questions and concerns about their hearing journey.

The Start Here app gently guides the patient through a range of topics that better prepares them for subsequent discussions with their HHCP.

For the companion, the Start Here app prepares them for what their loved one will be going through on their hearing journey and how they can help them.

Patients who arrive at a clinic for the first time may be experiencing uncertainty and anxiety while waiting for their appointment with the HHCP.

Support persons who accompany the patient for a visit may be feeling uninformed about what their companion will be going through as they enter their hearing journey, as well they could be waiting for the patient to do their audiogram so the Start Here app will give them something to review while they are waiting.

In either case, the Start Here app provides a simple solution to address the knowledge needs and concerns of patients and their support persons.
