What is it about?

This is a research study to better understand how physical and emotional symptoms interact in individuals with chronic pain. Our team has expertise in assessing and treating both psychological and pain symptoms. However, it is becoming increasingly clear that we need to focus on how symptoms interact within a person, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to treating chronic pain. This mobile tool will be used to track individuals’ physical and emotional symptoms so that we can build personalized symptom models. These models will help us develop personalized methods for the assessment and treatment of chronic pain.
