Stecak

The research platform nekropola.ba represents a conservation project of cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, initiated by the Institute for Archaeology of the Faculty of Philosophy headed by Prof. Edin Bujak, in cooperation with the software development company Klika from Sarajevo. This platform for recording, researching and promotion of stećci gravestones and necropoli was developed as a part of Klika’s Give back campaign, done during the internship program KLIKA PRAKSA.
Collected data will be available to everyone interested in learning more about stećci gravestones, and allow research staff to store, update and access previously stored data, and facilitate access to it through a modern platform. The presentational segment of the platform is intended to the general public which will have an opportunity to inform themselves about stećci gravestones of Bosnia And Herzegovina and the region.
