萬一有正在使用「優杖」的長者迷路而又忘記攜帶電話，我們可通知所有擁有STICKu手機軟件的用家並會懇求他們幫忙尋找迷路的用戶。如果擁有STICKu手機軟件的用家願意幫忙，他們只需打開程式，軟件就會自動定位並找尋迷路的用戶是否在附近。若碰巧迷路的長者在附近，志願者可幫忙找尋附近正在使用「優杖」的長者並幫忙聯絡我們，以確保長者的安全。為確保有更多人數幫忙尋找老友記，我們會招募更多的義工，同時也感謝各STICKu手機軟件用家的幫忙。
