Syl-la-bles Calculator

The "Syl-la-bles Calculator" is used along side the "Syl-la-bles" board game to determine the word scores being accumulated by each players as the they progress around the "Syl-la-bles" board game made by Twin Titan Innovations of Scarborough, Canada. The "Syl-la-bles Calculator" makes the game run smoothly when the younger players are either unable to count or get bored while the counting takes place.

By rolling the dice and using the "Syl-la-bles" board a player finds a letter for which they have 60 seconds to find a word that uses this letter as the starting character. The "Syl-la-bles Calculator" uses the same points per character system of the "Syl-la-bles" board game along with the number of syllables found in the word to calculate the total word score for the entered word. It can also add 500 points when a player successfully completes either the spelling or thesaurus questions found on the "Syl-la-bles" game board.

Once the word has been "Approved" or passes the spell checking, the word score is added to the players total score and displayed for viewing on the main screen. If the word is "Rejected" or fails the spell checking, a word score value of 0 is then added to player's total score.

The "Syl-la-bles Calculator" also keeps track of approved words and will not accept these words afterwards and requests a new word to be entered by the player is trying to accept a word that has been previously used
