App Store Description
This is a free, open source, privacy-focused app I developed to help my wife and me track our expenses. There’s no remote component or data collection—everything stays securely on your device.
While intentionally simple, the app includes all the essential features:
- View expense summaries by week and month
- Use a fixed set of categories
- Easily add and delete expenses
- Set a monthly budget for each category
- Visualize your spending for the current period with a pie chart
- Enjoy robust support for app interoperability via Shortcuts
Shortcuts are deliberately used to provide additional functionalities without cluttering the interface. Specifically, they allow you:
- to automatize addition of new expenses after using payment methods (you will still have to enter the expense, unless your payment method allows exporting that informatin -- which is seldom the case)
- to import / export part or all of your data to a textual (CSV) format.
The app is free, open source, and I welcome contributions! Feel free to ask for help, suggest improvements and propose your pull requests at: https://github.com/boborbt/T-Budget.
