The core of Tasker’s usability comes from organizing your tasks into the two fundamental elements of anything that you need to get done: Dates and Places.

DATES:
With Dates you can organize your tasks to be started or due on specific dates and they only appear in your “Today” view when they’re ready to be done.

We also let you set repeating tasks; a must have for any digital task manager. Set your “Get a haircut” task to repeat 4 weeks after it’s been completed and set your “Go to the gym” task to repeat every 3 days.

Tasker uses local notifications to alert you each day you have new tasks and always keep the badge number current. Alerts do not need an internet connection to work so you'll always know exactly how many tasks you have on your plate each day.

PLACES:
Having a task manager on your phone means you’ll have it with you on the go. Imagine you’re driving to your sister’s house and realize you have a little extra time. What errands do you have that can be done on the way? With Tasker you can place any of your tasks on a map and see them as pins. Just tap the places tab and see exactly what you can get done between here and where you need to go.

Use the “previous” and “next” button to navigate the map without all the dragging. Easily get driving directions to any task and use your GPS to find out exactly where you are in relation to everything you need to get done.

Tasker can also track your location in the background. When you're near a task you need to complete it will alert you so you never miss an opportunity to get things done. Tasker does not need to be open and your phone can be asleep and in your pocket and you'll still get these notifications.

ALL TASKS:
Tasker’s “All Tasks” tab lets you see all the tasks you currently have in the system. The todo’s dates show directly on the task and any tasks with a place set has a pin icon on it. Tap the pin to go directly to the map of that task. With “All Tasks” you can see everything. Tasks won’t be lost in the maze of folders and lists like in some other task managers.

NOTES:
Do you have a task that’s a little more complicated than what will fit in its title? Easily copy and paste or type any amount of text into a task’s notes field. Whenever you tap on that task its notes will be displayed in a clean, scrollable interface.
