TaskSize helps remote scrum teams estimate their tasks during Sprint Planning.
Team members in remote locations can estimate together without being influenced by each other.
3 Parts to the App:
==============
1. Create the team (with tasks)
2. Share the team (Invite participants)
3. Estimate size (Scrum Points)
Detailed Steps:
===========
0. Ensure you are logged into iCloud
1. Scrum master creates the team with tasks
2. Scrum master invites the team members by sharing the team via email, messages or other means (Share)
3. Team members accept the invite by tapping on the invite
4. Scrum master starts estimation for a task
5. Team members input their sizes
6. Scrum master stops the estimation for the task
7. Scrum master inputs the final size
8. Completed tasks contain individual sizes and the final size
Focus:
=====
- Focus is used to denote the current active task
- There can be only 1 task in focus at a given time
- Only the task in focus would be visible to the other team members
- When the scrum master (team owner) views a task the task automatically becomes in focus
- Scrum master (team owner) can swipe on a task to toggle the focus
Scrum Points:
==========
- Size refers to the Scrum points.
Features:
=======
- A user can see the other participant's size only when the user has submitted the size for the task.
- Custom sizes could be used to fit the team's needs (Edit Team > Size Type > Custom Size)
- Users can export and delete the data (Options)
Tips and Tricks:
===========
- While creating a team, use the task name Prefix so that you can create tasks quickly without having to type the same text for every task.
- While creating a team, use the Next button on the keyboard to navigate to the next field without having to tap on individual fields. This could also help while adding tasks repeatedly.
