Taz - Real and Now

Create groups with your real friends and explore a new way to exchange what's happening right now.

WhatsApp and FB Messenger groups are great, but they are hard work to keep up with sometimes! Taz is for those times when all you want is a quick catch-up with everybody to see what they are up to right now. No endless chat and notifications, it starts and finishes.

Taz is a place where you can open a window of time for people to exchange what they are doing at that moment, in a private group.

We started Taz because we believe the world DOES need another social media app.
Because real life's about what's happening 'right now'. It isn't always perfect, filtered or glossy but it's authentic. Sharing a single point in time is what makes us closer and more connected.

Create a Group - Taz is for private groups of various sizes, anything from your close family to a much bigger group of friends (max 100).

Starting a Moment - Moments are like opening a window of time, a way of asking everybody in the group what they are doing - you don't need any motive, it's just a catch-up.

Joining a Moment - People in the group join in by submitting what they are up to right now. It's not about curating and broadcasting only the special parts of life. All those that join get to see what the others are doing.

Special Moments - Specials are Moments that are started by the system, removing the burden of needing someone to initiate. Specials are longer in time to allow more of the group to join in.

Saving Moments - Sometimes the collection of pics/vids of what everybody is doing now is too good to lose. Save them and come back to view them whenever you want.

Privacy - Taz gives you the control to set up your groups how you want to. Some of us care less about privacy than others, but it matters to us at Taz. We'll always respect your privacy.
