This application is for the general public and will be distributed as such. Consumers want to know more about the things that they buy. We help large brands like Nestlé, Fonterra, Snow Beer (the largest beer company in the world) et cetera put QR codes on their packaging which can be scanned by mobile phone.
Commonly available QR code scanners currently have the weakness of not being secure whereby the response to the consumer can be manipulated – giving a fake response page.
Our mobile application will be distributed and marketed as a secure platform for product information.
For example the video above explains how a parent can trust the information regarding the infant formula product it's going to feed its baby.
We have just come back from Nestlé Switzerland headquarters and we are in the process of working with them to help their consumers get valuable trustworthy information about Nestlé products.
We therefore need this application to be uploaded as soon as possible as it is being used internally at Nestlé as we start to develop and refine the experience for consumers worldwide.
