What is it about?
When your master invites you to the dojo for tea, you end up having to do a lot more than just boil the water. HA HA HA HA HA HA. Hm..
Take out your enemies. Your master has invited you to the dojo for tea, or so you thought. The real purpose for your presence is to fight the horde of monsters outside of the dojo. Your only weapon is your lantern, and each shot fired will reduce the oil, making it difficult to see where your enemies are coming from. Thankfully, your master has your back. As long as you’re alive and fighting, he’ll keep lobbing oil canisters out from the window for you to collect.

Teatime Samurai is a twin-stick arcade-style shoot-em-up where as your fight gets bigger your light gets smaller. As you use your lantern to fight the many monsters of ancient Japan, your light source shrinks. Gotta get that oil!
