Capture the TED magic with the unofficial TED 2012 conference app.

This app provides the easiest way to see what’s going on at TED, view sessions and speakers, and capture text, photo or voice notes to remember your favorite talks. You can also locate the Long Beach Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California on a map, get directions, view your notes on your iPhone, iPad or the web with automatic sync.

Works in conjunction with Catch Notes, one of the leading free notepad apps. If you wish to use the note-taking features of the app, you will be prompted to download Catch Notes from the App Store if you do not already have it installed.

You need an internet connection the first time you access the app to load the most recent content. You can subsequently access the app off-line.

You also can view the TED2012 speakers and event information by selecting prior events.

The unofficial TED and TEDGlobal conference app is an open source project supported by Catch.com and other TED fans and used as a model that can be freely adapted by TEDx organizers around the world for their TEDx events.
