TEDxKomotini was created by a group of people of different ages, professional and educational orientations with a common denominator, the need for a real contribution to the dissemination of TED ideas in the areas of Science, Technology, Education, Entrepreneurship, Sport, Arts and Civil Society.

Following the widespread of TEDx to cities across Greece, TEDx comes to the city of Komotini and opens its doors to host a joint effort to highlight the importance and value of access to knowledge, information and innovation through a Multidisciplinary event.

At TEDxKomotini we dream of an open city that embraces progressive and innovative ideas, accepts diversity and the concept of change, promotes the spirit of collectivity, develops critical thinking, reflection, motivates society to volunteer action and is sensitized and mobilizes around Contemporary social and non-issues.
