Telkom LIT

We want to make watching online video content more flexible, fun and easy, that’s why we have launched the Telkom LIT App – it allows you to search and watch online video content and on-demand content through one platform, whenever, wherever no matter what network you are on.

What is Telkom LIT?

LIT is a “try it and tell us if you like it” app from Telkom. We want your feedback on whether you enjoy having online content grouped into one platform, making it easier for you to find your next favourite music, movies, shows or videos. Please play with its features - recording, rewind and pause channels. Watch up to 7 days of archived programmes in case you miss one of your favourite shows. The LIT App will continue to evolve over the coming months as we add more content partners, some unique to the LIT App. Help us make it even better by telling us what you think in the feedback section of the App!

Who can download the App?
You could be a subscriber with any of South Africa’s mobile operators, just download the Telkom LIT App onto your device and start streaming. For Telkom FREEME customers it gets better as you watch without worrying about using up your data allowance. Please bear in mind that some content is only available to watch in South Africa.

What can I watch?
The LIT App includes channels from StarSat as well as Telkom Branded Channels and other popular content providers. Please note that some of the content providers require addition subscription to their service.
The Telkom LIT App is available to the latest iOS 10 and upwards devices in both tablet and phone formats.
