App Store Description

The Tennessee Career Technical Education Standards at your fingertips! A great app for teachers, administrators, and students to access standards for CTE classes.

Always in Your Pocket

The Tennessee CTE standards are readily available on the state's website, but they are not in a mobile-friendly format. The app allows you to navigate the standards using native swiping and tapping. You can even favorite standards for quick access later.

Built for Busy Teachers and Administrators

Often times teachers and especially administrators need a quick reference to the standards but don't have the time to look them up on the state website. The app provides convenient, quick access to the standards. Almost everyone keeps their phone or a tablet on them during the school day. Now teachers and administrators will be able to immediately access the standards anywhere they go.

Developed by Students

The Tennessee CTE Standards app is the product of a year-long, advanced coding class at Sullivan North High School in Kingsport, TN. Students generated ideas, designed layouts, and coded the app using Flutter as part of an ongoing class project. The original group of students who contributed was: Joe B, Ethan H, Britney E, Becca I, Matt J, Dustin P, and Keylynn P. The app will continue to be maintained by faculty and students in future classes.
