Text EZ

Prepare texts for special events and holidays. Enter a message, attach an image and select recipients from your Contacts, all ahead of time. A backup of your events are safely stored in iCloud should you ever have need to reinstall the app. Note: events are not 'synced' across devices.

Receive an alert notification at your chosen hour to remind you of the special day.

The app comes preloaded with 11 events, including 2 birthdays, Mother's Day and Father's Day. Other events can be added and configured. Preloaded events can be fully modified.

Events can repeat annually or be selected for one time notification only. Preloaded 'variable' events are automatically set to the correct date in the next year, the day after they occur. Variable events (US holidays) are: Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day and Thanksgiving.

Choose the event's emoji icon to personalize and distinguish events.

Selected images are saved with the event and passed (in addition to message and recipients) to Messages. Thus, they can be deleted from your photo library, and yet be available for a later event message send.

Paper airplane icon conveniently begins sending the message. Text EZ uses the same send view you are familiar with in the Messages app. Please note: It is not possible for the app to send messages automatically or when the app is not active (on screen).

Note: The app has 2 feature limitations related to sending messages. One is the maximum number of recipients. This is related to the app using Messages for message sending. Text EZ passes the message and recipients to Messages, which has a 33 number limit. Additionally, the Message send view does not allow adding attachments. (as of May 2021, iOS 14)
