Yarn Calculator:
It’s pretty simple! To find out what weight two yarns held together will be, all you need to do is find out the meterage or yardage for each yarn (be consistent!) and then:

Enter the meterage (or yardage) per 100g for the thinner yarn in the top box. This will be the bigger number.
Enter the meterage (or yardage) per 100g for the thicker yarn in the bottom box. This will be the smaller number.
Check the third box to find out the combined meterage (or yardage) per 100g.
Look up this value in the table below to find out what yarn weight this is equivalent to.
If you know what combined weight you’re aiming for and the weight of one yarn but not the other, it’s a bit trickier to work out. The best bet is to use trial and error. Remember to switch around which number is in which box if need be!

Yarn Conveter:
We developed this yarn conversion calculator to make it easier to understand the different units of measure for yarn and fiber counts. Service Thread focuses on the precise conversion of various fiber yarn types into twisted, treated, and/or wound constructions for a variety of industries, including hose manufacturing, fiber optic cable production, webbing, and heavy-duty bonded sewing threads.

Yarn Lenght Calculator:
Steps to Use the Calculator:
Select the Calculation Method: Choose whether you want to calculate based on weight, stitches, or area.
Input the Parameters: Enter the required values for weight, thickness, number of stitches, or area.
Apply the Formula: Use the appropriate formula to calculate the yarn length.
Get the Result: The calculator will provide you with the required yarn length.

Yarn Weight Calculator:
Suppose you have the following parameters:

Length of the yarn: 500 meters
Thickness (yarn count): 0.2 grams/meter
Constant: 1 (assuming the units are already compatible)
Using the first formula:

Weight=500×0.2=100
grams
Weight=500×0.2=100 grams
This means you will need 100 grams of yarn for the given length and thickness.

Fabric Weight Calculator:
Length: The length of the fabric (usually in meters or yards).
Width: The width of the fabric (usually in meters or yards).
Density (GSM): The weight of the fabric per unit area (grams per square meter or ounces per square yard).

Fabric GSM Calculator:
Measure the Weight of the Fabric Sample: Weigh the fabric sample using a precise scale.
Measure the Area of the Fabric Sample: Determine the length and width of the fabric sample and calculate the area.
Input the Parameters: Enter the weight and area values into the calculator.
Apply the Formula: Use the formula to calculate the GSM.
Get the Result: The calculator will provide you with the GSM of the fabric
