TextSynth allows you to create ring tones, theme tunes, jingles etc quickly and easily.

You record the tune in one of three ways:
1. by playing it into the piano;
2. by tapping the notes you require in the custom keyboard;
3. by typing the tune in plain text.

The advantage of text is that it is universally readable and easily sharable. It's also more compact than a full set of staves or other synthesizer programs.

Please do not be daunted by the complex look of the text window! Included are several example files to get you up to scratch (and quick tutorials are available on the support link above). :-)

Do you have a tune stuck in your head which you just can't place? Enter it into TextSynth and then email it to your friends to identify.

TextSynth's sound output is based on the popular MobileSynth player and shares many of that app's settings.
