App Store Description
The aim of this app is to create a simple traditional and nostalgic feeling for elderly, or for mild dementia, especially Chinese users whom need a Lunar calendar.
Elderly or mild dementia persons usually are disoriented which day of the year, month or week they are in.
The main design is kept simple and unambiguous. Simple design and de-clutter for easy viewing. Unambiguous by only showing Western Gregorian calendar month or day of the week in English and showing Chinese Lunar calendar month or day of the week in Chinese. As normal traditional calendar shows both Gregorian and Lunar date in Chinese on the same page, and that has led to confusion for these group of users.
Another feature is the automatic move to next page on a new day, eliminating the physical action of tearing a page on a physical calendar. Elderly tends to forget to tear on a physical calendar.
This app also understand elderly user usually needs larger font without losing traditional feels.
Feedback email are provided to improve in future versions.
