What is it about?
"When Isaac’s mother starts hearing the voice of God demanding a sacrifice be made to prove her faith, Isaac escapes into the basement, where he faces droves of deranged enemies, lost brothers and sisters, his fears and eventually his mother.
Difficult boss battles. In addition to tough normal foes, Isaac will have to face off against 50 different bosses in the basement before facing off against his own mother in the ultimate showdown.
Challenge yourself. On top of the regular procedurally-generated game mode, you’ll be able to do Challenge Runs. These have specific effects that are in play for the entire run, giving you an added layer of difficulty and challenge if you crave it.
Use items. There are plenty of items that you’ll find scattered throughout the game. Collect them for cool effects like increased damage, more health, and even have things like dolls to give you a bit more protection.

Gameplay
