Content of the story
1. A farmer is working on the field. Suddenly he hears some noises from the river near by. He walks to the river and there is a mallard swimming. The farmer thinks: "I will find a way to catch this mallard".
2. Slowly and carefully the farmer hides himself in one bush of the river, waiting the mallard to swim nearby to catch. The mallard of course does not know that there is one farmer watching and about to catch it.
3. Still the mallard is too far from reach. The farmer sits down and starts to think: "I will catch this mallard. This is a female mallard. I will catch an other male one. Then I will raise both of them. They will soon lay eggs. Then the eggs will hatch. I will have a flock of ducks.”
4. The flock of ducks will grow up. I will sell some of them and buy a couple of geese.
5. From the geese I will raise them up, they will soon lay eggs and the eggs will hatch. Soon I will have a flock of geese.
6. With plenty of ducks and geese I will sell some of them to buy a couple of goats.
7. From the goats, I will raise them up and they will soon give me a lot of babies. I will have a herd of goat.
8. "When I have many goats, I can sell some of them to buy a couple of cows." The farmer smiles happily.
9. The cows will grow up and give me a lot of calves. They will eat the grasses from the hill next to my house. Soon I will have a lot of cattle.
10. "With the poultry and cattle I have, I can sell some of them, then I can have money to build a new house and give my son some money for him to get married." The farmer dreams.
