The FoodPath NZ’s app is an online food & heritage collection of listings - of food producers, eateries and other splendid stops all around Aotearoa New Zealand.
Your road trip companion for a day out in New Zealand (or a few hours, or a few days). 

What’s in it
It’s our collection of handpicked places we've independently visited throughout Aotearoa New Zealand - food producers, eateries, and other splendid stops. Every handpicked place is regionally listed (and there’s hundreds of them). And you can find out where we've been that's close to where you are now.

As for Aotearoa New Zealand’s splendid stops… what could they be? Perhaps a good walk, a mural and other public art, a statue with an anecdote, or some other surprising spot that has a special place in Aotearoa New Zealand’s story. Think fine local museums, historic sites, quirky sculptures and installations, impressive lighthouses, walking tracks, special galleries, clever murals - and much more that fill in more of the Aotearoa New Zealand story, good and bad, happy and sad. All the way learning a bit more.

How it works
The app works offline. 
To use the map features to tell you exactly the path to go on with GPS locating, you’ll need to be online.  And when you are, you’ll see where you are and where to find everything.  There’s the key information about each place, and what else is nearby. The app also links to external websites of the places featured on it, to help you find more information about them.

Independently produced
The app is produced by an independent team, and the team has visited every place.  
If we cover somewhere, you know we’ve been there, thought it was just the ticket, and wanted to find out more.
