What is it about?

Throughout the history of Chess, the Knight's Tour, a well-known chess puzzle, has gained its own significance. Numerous books and programs have been dedicated to exploring and understanding the intricate movements of the Knight on the chessboard. These resources aim to unravel the challenge of maneuvering the Knight to cover every square on the chessboard precisely once. The Knight's Odyssey challenge introduces intriguing twists to the traditional Knight's Tour. Starting on a 5x5 chess board, the task is to skillfully guide the Knight through the remaining 24 steps to successfully complete the journey. Along the way, the Knight encounters various perils that either attack or serve as distractions, adding complexity to the challenge. As your skills progress, the difficulty level rises with the introduction of additional obstacles, including timers, multiple Medusas, and larger boards. These elements increase the challenge, making the quest to reach home safely even more demanding.
