The Luminary Network

The Luminary Network (TLN), provided by Lead For America, convenes a powerful community of leaders to catalyze positive change. This virtual community holds a vast amount of collective knowledge where Luminaries (aka community members) can connect with others, build meaningful relationships across geographies and experience, and share knowledge, resources, and calls to action. The Luminary Network highlights the vibrant landscape of changemakers in communities across our nation by offering opportunities to build relationships and foster collaboration for sustainable impact.

The Luminary Network offers the opportunity to:
- Find, connect, and meet up with other passionate changemakers in your area;
- Learn from other Luminaries’ stories through posts, forums, and discussions;
- Plug in to other learning resources, including a library of local toolkits built by our Fellows;
- Post and find jobs from others in the network to support continuous engagement in public service work;
- Be in community with a national network of leaders who are invested in deep, systemic change.

Lead For America (LFA) is a nonprofit that exists to ensure that our nation's most dynamic and diverse leaders are working on our communities' toughest challenges by helping outstanding young people become civic leaders, particularly in their hometowns and states. Through its flagship two-year paid Fellowship program, LFA has funded and placed over 200 Fellows in newly created positions in 80+ communities since 2019, with plans to continue to grow this number each year. In addition to the two-year Fellowship program, LFA has placed 150+ Summer Fellows, launched 10+ college chapters nationwide, and incubated five state and regional affiliates to date.
