The Voice Magazine

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) is the biggest union for the communications industry in the UK, and The Voice is the flagship magazine that is sent out bi-monthly to the union’s 200,000-strong membership.

The Voice is packed full of the latest industrial news and campaigns aimed specifically at the postal, telecoms and financial services sectors that our members work in. Each magazine features a lively letters page.

The CWU exists to protect, advance and serve the interests of its members throughout the communications industry. CWU members work in Royal Mail, the Post Office, BT, Telefonica O2 and a raft of other telecommunication companies, cable TV, Accenture HR Services. Our financial services membership is particularly strong in Santander, including its Geoban, ISBAN and Produban subsidiaries. Our members' expertise includes engineering, computing, clerical, mechanical, driving, retail, financial and manual skills.

The union aims to ensure not only the provision of efficient, integrated and affordable communication services for the UK - but also safe, secure and well rewarded employment for all CWU members.
