Shop participating makers and merchants. Our platform functions like Etsy but is only available for small businesses in our neck of the woods.

Search local Real Estate. The founder of ThePlateau.co is also a Realtor, so it is one-stop shopping!

Find local happenings. Our goal is to promote local events for those entities that wish to partner with us.

Find local hikes. While we may never catalogue them all, we can certainly try! We also provide a listing of local attractions for your convenience. These include photos, as well as directions on how to find your adventure.

History. Our founder is a native of Highlands, NC. The latest initiative is the Rooted in Highlands project. This series of interviews seeks to preserve the history of Highlands, the town we all love dearly.
