TIE automates and streamlines traditionally manual processes. Expenses are automatically categorized for easy inclusion in financial reports. One-off and repeating ACH payments can be set up within the app making it easier to pay bills and track the expenses to category and vendor. Adjustments are made easy through the color-coded dual entry worksheet, which immediately shows any areas of the income statement or balance sheet that don’t tie.

Multiple user types are supported to allow collaboration between business administrators, assistants, and accountants. Different user types have different permissions and capabilities making it easy to delegate certain tasks. Business admins can do everything from initiating ACH payments to categorizing expenses. Assistants can set up payments for business and send to the Business Admin for approval, securing payment capabilities. Accountants can access all the financial data necessary to do taxes, prepare reports, and make adjustments within the worksheet section.

TIE Accounting is a cloud-based solution and includes a desktop and mobile app solution, fitting the device to the task-at-hand. Both solutions connect to a single account, with data and users shared and synced in the cloud. For advanced financial reporting, balancing within the worksheet, and other functions that require large amounts of typing or data displayed on-screen the desktop application is best suited. For on-the-go functionality, like quickly checking numbers or taking photographs of invoices, the mobile application is perfect, allowing easy login access, photo capabilities, and the ability to log in and check up on things anywhere and anytime.
