Tigrigna or Tigrinya is the official language of Eritrea and is also spoken in the northern parts of Ethiopia. It is a semitic language and is written with a unique Geez alphabet used only in Eritrea and Ethiopia.
In this app you can see the names different body parts and organs as well as human emotions spelled and pronounced in Tigrigna. The words are written in English first and also in Tigrigna using the latin alphabet as well as the Geez alphabet for those that can read it and a picture is seen that shows what one is looking at. There are about 50 body parts and several emotions named. When you enter the page you hear a sound that tells you what you are looking at, you can also click on the sound icon to hear the sound again. This is a fun way to teach yourself and your children the names of many body parts and emotions.
