Timauthy

The Timauthy app is a time-based single-use code manager. It allows you to generate ephemeral codes for Internet services with standard strong authentication that complies with the RFC 6238 standard.

Timauthy is particularly focused on the security and confidentiality of the data it handles.

Thus, by default, the application works in offline mode, without the need to create a dedicated account. Even in this use case, it is possible to save your data using the Export function, which generates a coded text that can be copied onto any medium.

To recover your data, you must then import it onto any device that has the Timauthy app.

Timauthy also offers to synchronize your data online to facilitate their security and availability. A simple email address is used as an identifier to register and connect.

For the most demanding, Timauthy also offers the possibility to customize its end-to-end encryption key to guarantee a Zero-Knowledge architecture. This key must of course be duly saved by the user in the event of disconnection or reinstallation of the application.
